HOW TO KEEP YOUR LAPTOP BATTERY HEALTHY ?
1. BATTERY SAVER MODE
On the bottom right corner of the screen, click on the battery level indicator, and make sure the power saving mode is activated. If you are performing tasks that require high performance you can turn it off otherwise it drains your battery without any reason.
2. DON'T LET THE BATTERY DIE
We are in a habit of not putting a laptop to charge unless it falls below 5% or dies, which is harmful to battery charging capacity. Results show that when PC works under low battery it puts a heavy load on battery which reduces its charging capacity. Try to start charging the laptop when the battery falls below 25% it will increase your battery life.
3. SSD
Whenever possible go for SSD as these require very less power to operate, it also makes your PC run faster as you can access files at a much better speed.
4. PLUGGING OUT
Do not keep your laptop connected to a charger all the time, there is no need to charge it at full capacity, keep it between 25% to 75%. this increases your number of cycles of battery life.
5. CLEAR BACKGROUND APPS
Try to close those programs that you are not using as these consume your battery and also reduces your system speed. In windows press Ctrl + Shift + Esc key to access task manager and close unnecessary tasks running in behind. Also, check the tray icons at the bottom right corner to see which apps are running.
6. LOWER THE SCREEN BRIGHTNESS
One does not screen to be extra bright all the time. The display uses most of the battery so try to keep the brightness as minimum as possible. this will increase your hour usage per charge by a very good time. Also, power saver mode or eco mode also changes this setting automatically to its best.
7. WI-FI AND BLUETOOTH
Try to keep both these options off unless you are using it because Wi-Fi and Bluetooth keep on searching for connections all the time which drains the battery much faster.
Amazing 🤩
